My wife and I (top left) trekking around the country with our five boys was to say at the very least challenging. Like most people we started out in tents and then bought our first camper! We were in heaven in our 1973 Vega camper. Nope it wasn't new but it
was paid for. So we packed it up and headed out. Pam, me and our five boys stuffed into a suburban and on our way to the Rocky Mountains. The trip was interesting. I think Robin Williams said it best in the comedy movie "RV". "If you want to get to know your family put them in a RV and drive".
Now most of the kids are grown and the big family adventures are few and far between but the memories will last a lifetime. Memories like fishing with our boys in Canada, climbing in Colorado, discoveries on the shores of all the Great Lakes, caving all over and ocean excursions. The list goes on and on with no regrets other than longing for more time.
With the kids grown and on their own we find ourselves spending more and more time with long time friends Carl and Sue. Carl and I have spent allot of years doing stupid thing together and why we didn't do more things while the kids were little I have no idea but it is regretful and I wish we had, it would have been an adventure with our five kids and their four!
Meet Pam my inspiration and my true love.
Pam is a fourth grade teacher in a very small school here in Missouri. If you are not married to a teacher you have no idea. When I was in school if I had known how hard and how many hours teachers worked I may have been a better student but probably not. Sometimes it's kinda like being married to a 4th grader with a masters degree but I wouldn't change a thing.
Though she does not share my enthusiasm with many of my outdoor activities she still manages to tolerate being married to a child trapped in a mans body.
I tell ya this lady can cook a meal in camp that makes the whole campground envious! She baits her own hook and she has out fished me on occasion.
You will see more of Pam in the future doing some cool outdoors stuff.
Meet Carl (Cow wow) my partner in crime
You will see this face pop up many times in photos. Cow wow (long story) is a lifetime friend who isn't smart enough to tell me no when I have some hair brained idea to do something. Not true, half the time the ideas are his and I'm not smart enough to say no. He and his wife Sue are true friends and a rare find. We enjoy every moment we spend with them and hope to do some serious traveling with them soon.
Meet Tonya, the Noamad babe
What outdoor recreation company would be complete without a young sexy lady doing outdoor activities in a sexy way? Tonya is the real deal. She loves outdoor stuff and having fun. We're gonna be taking some pics of this young lady very soon and then we are going to exploit her for our personal gain.
Just kidding but we are gonna be taking some pics of her doing her stuff though.
Tonya is a devoted and loving mother of two boys, loves country music and photography.
Shoot us an email and tell her how pretty she is but keep it clean, she's my niece
Meet Sue, the spicy part of our foursome
A 800 lb Brahma Bull trapped in a 107 lb blond! This lady can be a sweet as caramel candy and as mean as a junk yard dog all within the same minute! She loves the outdoors and would probably camp all summer if she could. A loving mother of four and four grandkids, a loving, devoted wife to Carl and a true friend.
Being a clean freak ya gotta wonder how she survives in the outdoors but she seems to do just fine.
